A storm had caused it to rain for 2 weeks non stop, creating lakes over all of the farmland. These lakes served as a mirror for the clouds above. A bit of luck with a cloud break caused the sunset to burst through under the storm cloud, creating this scene. All images creative commons non commercial

Ben Ashmole (ashmolephotography) > I have never seen more stars than on this night. It was like the Milky Way was raining down stars for as far as I could see. I had to go pretty far in to the bush to avoid ambient light but it was well worth it!
